Chili Cook-Off (11 am – 1 pm) | Sponsored by Ballantyne Village
Ballantyne Festival had its start, in part, as a chili cook-off organized by the Ballantyne Breakfast Club. Today, the chili competition is part of our Celebration of Service and one of our most popular events. Come sample a variety of sweet, spicy, chunky, beany, meaty, veggie, and downright lip-smacking recipes that are sure to delight. And not only is the chili contest a fun way to spend an autumn day, it’s also a chance to meet candidates and local leaders as well as support first responders, nonprofits, and local businesses who are all competing for the crown.
